Mentor Teacher of the School of Dental Medicine

Dear students,

During your internship, your work will be monitored by two mentors:

• School mentor, teacher at the School of Dental Medicine
• External mentor, a doctor of dental medicine from the practice where you are doing your professional internship.

The school mentor is the contact person you should contact in the event of any problems during your internship.

Your obligations to your school mentor are outlined in the Student Internship Handbook. 

Upon completion of the internship, the school mentor records the student's internship into the index upon presentation of the duly completed Student Internship Handbook and the completed and signed Final Certificate of the external mentor on the completed internship, which is an integral part of the handbook. 

In the event of illness or vacation during the practical work, the external mentor must notify the school mentor via e-mail.
