Staff employed at a higher education institution can apply.

Both forms of mobility can last from 2 days to 2 months (not including travel time). In all cases, the teaching activity must include a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week or a shorter period of exchange. The initiated activity must be maintained continuously, it cannot be interrupted, unless there are objective and justified reasons for it.

The selection of candidates for mobility of teaching and non-teaching staff is carried out through a contest which is announced by the International Relations Office of the University of Zagreb, most often in May for the next academic year.

The selection decision is made by the Committee for International Cooperation of the University of Zagreb. If necessary, a waiting list is also formed. Teaching and non-teaching staff who submit an application and pass the administrative check, but is not selected for funding, can achieve mobility at one's own expense (so-called zero-grant).
