Welcome to the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, a distinguished institution with more than 60 years of tradition, excellence and innovation in dental education, research and clinical practice.
Founded in 1962, our faculty has educated more than 6,500 doctors of dental medicine who today serve the community and advance oral health around the world.
Our faculty offers a six-year study program in English for international students. The program provides a comprehensive education that combines theoretical knowledge, cutting-edge scientific research, and extensive practical clinical experience. Students gain practical skills through working with patients early in their studies, under the guidance of our dedicated and experienced faculty. We also collaborate with leading international experts in the field of dental medicine, and we are happy to host esteemed visiting professors who enrich our academic community. For those who are passionate about science and an academic career, we also offer a three-year doctoral program (PhD) in English, which provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the latest scientific discoveries.
