ISVU (Information System of Higher Education Institutions) is a project of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, launched in early 2001 as part of the program of digitalization of higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia. ISVU reduces paperwork and strives to fully computerize the process of studying at higher education institutions.
This allows students to register for exams online (Studomat), receive exam information, quickly obtain various certificates, and enroll in multiple years of study more quickly.
Teachers are enabled to describe courses in the system, edit weekly lesson plans, define exam deadlines, update student performance data, and record data related to the completion of studies.
All of this is managed through several separate applications, each with a different task. The Teacher Portal web application updates course information. The ISVU Exams application is used to define exam deadlines and enter grades. Through the Studomat application, students can register for exams and view other relevant notices.
