On October 15, 2026, the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Zagreb hosted the second edition of its Open Day for Business Partners, titled Idea Incubator 2026. Held at the Wespa – Green Gold business centre in Zagreb, the event aimed to showcase the School’s research capabilities and explore new opportunities for collaboration with representatives of industry and the investment community.

The program focused on bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors from a range of industrial sectors to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience and identify opportunities for joint research and innovation projects.

Participants attended expert presentations, a panel discussion, and a dedicated pitch session, designed to facilitate a two-way exchange between the School’s research capabilities and the specific needs of the business sector.

As an important step towards strengthening these partnerships, a designated contact person has been appointed to facilitate connections between interested companies and relevant researchers at the School and to coordinate individual meetings. This initiative lays the groundwork for identifying shared interests and developing concrete opportunities for future collaboration.

The event concluded with an informal networking session at themed tables, giving participants the opportunity to get to know one another, exchange contact details, and establish new professional connections.
