Registration requirements
The right to enroll in the university integrated undergraduate and graduate study of Dental Medicine is granted to persons who have passed the state high school leaving exam and a test of special abilities, while fulfilling the prerequisites for enrollment.

- certificate from the competent school doctor regarding health and psychophysical abilities for the study of Dental Medicine
- signed statement of psychophysical ability to perform the profession of Doctor of Dental Medicine

Enrollment requirements
The ranking list of candidates applying for admission to the study program is compiled according to the following scoring system.
a) Based on high school performance up to 220 points
b) Based on the passed state matriculation exams
Croatian language (level A) up to 100 points
Mathematics (level A) up to 40 points
English language (level A) up to 90 points
Biology* up to 150 points
Physics* up to 150 points
Chemistry* up to 150 points
*Requirement for enrollment in the study is passing all listed courses
c) Based on a test of special abilities
Psychomotor test conducted by the School of Dental Medicine up to 100 points
The threshold for the psychomotor test is 15 points.
d) No points are awarded based on the student's additional achievements.
Applications through the state graduation system for Dental Medicine are due by June 2, 2025.
Submission of additional documentation and applications for special abilities testing are submitted electronically: all scanned documents should be sent to referada@sfzg.hr from May 12 to June 2, 2025.

Applicants who have completed high school or have previously studied in the Republic of Croatia must undergo an examination for the issuance of a Certificate of Psychophysical Abilities for the study of Dental Medicine at the competent school doctors (for high school or faculty).
Applicants can find information on reviewing and issuing certificates for enrollment at a higher education institution on the websites of county public health institutes (school and adolescent medicine service).

- Confirmation of payment (with the completed application, proof of payment of the costs of testing special abilities in the amount of 40.00 euros must be attached, which should be paid to IBAN HR7423600001101235285 University of Zagreb School of Dental Medicine, with the indication "for testing special abilities".
Applicants coming from countries where there is no school and adolescent medicine service (e.g. Bosnia and Herzegovina) should undergo an examination for the issuance of a Certificate of Health and Psychophysical Capabilities for the study of Dental Medicine at the nearest school and adolescent medicine clinic at the public health institutes in the Republic of Croatia or at the clinic of the Center for Health Services of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
Orders for an appointment at the Center for Health Services of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Marjeta Majer, MD, specialist in school and adolescent medicine, are accepted by e-mail: mmajer@snz.hr When ordering an appointment at the Center, it is necessary to send a scan of the following documents as an attachment:
- Questionnaire for issuing a Certificate from the competent school doctor on health and psychophysical abilities for the 2025-26 study period
- Confirmation from a general practitioner/family medicine or pediatrician (who is not related to the applicant) regarding health status and previous illnesses
- Certificate of vaccinations completed in preschool and school age (with the vaccines listed and the date of receipt)
- Medical documentation they have for previously diagnosed illnesses and health disorders, along with recent findings.
Only candidates who have applied on time in the specified manner and submitted all additional documentation in accordance with the instructions above have the right to access the special abilities test.
After receiving and processing your application, candidates will receive a password to the email address provided in the "Become a student" system. Remember your password, as you will not be able to access the special abilities test (psychomotor test) without it.
Detailed information about the psychomotor test (c) is published on the website of the School of Dental Medicine (www.sfzg.unizg.hr).
The special abilities test (c) will be conducted on June 30, 2025 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Ivana Lučića 3, 10000 Zagreb) according to the schedule that will be published in the "Become a student" system under Notices.
You will be able to see the results of the psychomotor skills test in the "Become a student" system in the points structure from July 2, 2025.
Appeals for additional knowledge testing - Psychomotor test and requests for access to documentation must be submitted in writing on July 3, 2025 , from 10 am to 12 pm, at the Secretariat of the School of Dental Medicine at Petrinjska 34.
The documentation will be inspected on July 7, 2025 , exclusively for applicants who requested it within the stipulated deadline and in the prescribed manner at the Secretariat of the School of Dental Medicine, Petrinjska 34, room 12.
A candidate who has not completed two years of Latin language instruction must pass the course before enrolling in the second year of study.
Applicants from EU countries whose mother tongue points on the national externally evaluated final exam were recognized instead of Croatian language points on the state matura exam in the Republic of Croatia, must pass the B2 level of Croatian language on the exam at the National Center for External Evaluation of Education in order to enroll in the study program.
Enrollment quotas
Enrollment quotas are determined each year for the upcoming academic year.
The following is planned for the upcoming enrollment:
- 85 students who are citizens of the Republic of Croatia
- 5 foreign students
Course of the classification procedure
1. Application through the state matura system (until June 2, 2025)
2. Application for the Psychomotor Test and submission of additional documentation exclusively through the School of Dental Medicine (May 12 - June 2, 2025)
3. The schedule of candidates for the psychomotor test will be available in the "Become a student" system under notifications
4. Psychomotor skills test (June 30, 2025) according to the published schedule.
5. Enrollment in the first year of studies (July 21 and 22, 2025)
